We stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn on Grand Island.
Here we are, rested and refreshed and ready for another day of being tourists.
Probably the most popular attraction at the falls is called "Maid of the Mist." These boats leave from the American and Canadian side. You get to go by both falls and get an incredible view. You get so close to the Horseshoe falls (the one without all the rocks at the bottom) that you can't even see, the mist is so thick. Here's an example.
