2 Months Old

Everyone says you take less pictures with each additional child.  While I'm sure that is true, I've still managed to get plenty of pictures of my little man.

Daddy and Dallin in matching colors.  Not sure what sports team they're rooting for with their blue and orange, but it was a fun (unplanned) match.

I LOVE it when he smiles!

He gets lots of love and attention from the whole gang.

Even Miriam and Eliza's friends can't get enough of him.

They all pulled up a chair so they could be next to Dallin.

A week later he's ready to bust out of his vest buttons.

Happy two months, Dallin.  These two months have gone by SO much faster than the last two months of pregnancy (and been MUCH more enjoyable)!

Easter Weekend

 Saturday of Easter Weekend we started by dyeing some Easter eggs.

The girls especially loved covering the eggs with stickers.

Dallin wasn't too interested in egg dyeing this year.

While the eggs dried, Stan and the girls planted seeds and starts in the garden.

Then they hunted the eggs.

The sun was a little too bright for Dallin to open his eyes.

We decided to try out the city Easter egg hunt.  It was a little crazy.  All those little specks are eggs and it was a mad rush with all the people.

They managed to come away with a few eggs though.  I'm not sure we'll come back next year for that craziness.

At least the inflatables were fun.

And the Easter bunny.

We parked in the museum parking lot across the street from the park.  Gotta love the artwork in the neighboring field:

 

Eliza didn't like being left out of the picture, but was too tired and hot to chase after them.

 Easter morning.  I was proud of myself for making the Easter baskets this year.  It reminds me so much of my own childhood basket.

We ended the day with a nice dinner with the extended family.  Grandma and Grandpa enjoying a nap with Dallin before the whole crew arrives.

I love this time of year.  Spring weather is so refreshing and rejuvenating, especially after the long, hard winter we have had this year.  I am so grateful for family and for my Savior, Jesus Christ.  Because of Him, I have the chance to be with my family forever.

Cousins

 There are lots of reasons we love living near so many cousins.  One of which is the opportunity to take pictures like this:

Room Change

Since the new year, our kids have undergone a lot of change.  Not only the change of Mom breaking her leg and having a new baby, but some other big milestones for these little people.

I can't take credit for most of them, because Stan did them while I was immobile.

In January, Stan decided to switch Eliza from the crib to the toddler bed.

Then he got Miriam nighttime potty-trained (hallelujah!)

In February, he moved Eliza's bed into Miriam's room to get the girls used to their new roommate for the next 13 years.

  

Then of course the addition of Dallin to the family has been a wonderful change for all of us.

With a new member of the family comes the need for more clothes and clothes storage.  Eliza got kicked out of the baby room and furniture, so I searched for awhile on Craigslist until I found a great dresser at a steal of a price.

To top it all off, we purchased some inexpensive matching big girl beds for the girls (that can later be bunk beds when we need).

They really have done fantastic with all the change we've thrown at them this year and I am so grateful.

Next big change:  potty training for Eliza.  Oh how I'm not looking forward to that one!
