Miriam started the weekend by supporting the Hogs in their victory against the Bears on Saturday.
Monday we spent the afternoon at the lake. After a few months of 100 degree heat this summer, this weekend it finally cooled down to the 70s. It was a beautiful day.
Because of the heavy Spring rains, the lake level was too high most of the summer to go to the beach. Finally, the water was low enough for the swim area to be open.
Jared brought his boat and took the kids tubing.
Even Stan went for a spin on the tube.
Grandma and Grandpa Hornberger enjoyed watching the grand kids play.
Miriam had a ball playing in the sand with her cousins.
Cousin Brooke wanted some of that sand too.
We finished off the evening with a hot dog barbecue.
I love the cooler weather, but am a little sad to see summer on it's way out, even if it was a hot one!
