True to Arkansas form, the weather has been all over the place this winter. We've had some bitter cold (and finally snow), but also some beautiful Spring days sprinkled throughout.
On one of those warm days we met up with our old walking buddies
When we all had one kid, we would go walking almost daily for exercise and a little social therapy.
As each of us have increased our family numbers in the past five years, we haven't been able to get together as often, so this was a nice reunion of sorts.
5 years ago, and present day:
Miriam has gained more confidence lately on her bike and loved riding with her friends.
We've also enjoyed some time at the park with our down-the-street neighbor, Ellie.
We attended a wedding reception and reunited these four girl friends:
They sure have grown up together:
We enjoy monthly date night swaps with our friends, the MacCabes. These kids LOVE each other, and that makes me so happy.
