This handsome guy turned 1 year old! And he is happy about it!
It's been a year full of smiles from this guy. He still has his moments, but he is, overall, a very happy baby. And now he's considered a toddler.
23 lbs 5 oz and 30.25" tall.
Cruising fast, but not walking yet.
Just starting to sleep all the way through the night consistently (yay for Mom and Dad!!)
We met up with his birthday buddy, Mariah. Her mom and I are friends and they just happened to be born the same day and in the same hospital.
And here they are a year later.
So cute!!
For Dallin's birthday we threw a party and had some friends over. It started (unexpectedly) snowing that afternoon and snowed the rest of the day and evening. Luckily our guests were still able to make it (though it might have taken Jody a ridiculous amount of time to arrive because of the snow traffic).
By the time we got around to Dallin's cake, it was his bed time, and he wasn't feeling very well either (we found out later he had an ear infection). But he still managed to have a smile.
He needed some help getting started. I'm sure he was thinking "why won't they just put me to bed??"
And now he says "I'm done, please have pity on me!"
We tried a few presents but he just wasn't having it. So we put him to bed.
But then he decided he wasn't really ready for bed and wanted to play a little more (or maybe he was in pain and we didn't know it).
So happy this little guy is part of our family and looking forward to an adventurous year 2!
