We only stayed four days at the reunion so we could spend time with Stan's family. The entire reunion actually lasts a week. A thunderstorm had rolled through the night before and kept me awake a few hours, so I was ready to be done camping.
We celebrated the 4th of July with another patriotic pancake breakfast.
No 4th of July would be complete without a parade.
Even the Canadians joined in on the fun.
Yes, the Hornbergers are just a little bit crazy.
We then got ready for family pictures. Gemma warmed right up to cousin Angela and left her hand on Angela's arm for several minutes.
The family picture. Yes, that's the back of Eliza's head.
Believe it or not, that's not even the entire family.
After pictures, the real fun began with a carnival.
I was quite impressed with the part of the family that organized the carnival. It was complete with games, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy and shaved ice.
After everyone was worn out, we packed up and headed into Utah Valley to stay with Stan's family.
