Miriam's birthday was coming. She loves the water. We now live in a neighborhood with a pool. Last year we moved on her birthday and didn't do much.
So this year we made up for it with a big pool party.
The weather was warm and the water was cool.
Everyone had a blast, especially the birthday girl. After a full summer of swimming lessons, she is now totally confident jumping in the water.
We followed up the swimming with a hot dog and cupcake lunch.
Oh, and I made the cupcakes :-)
We had lots of fun with lots of family and friends. I think about 35 people came. Love those summer birthdays!
