Time for the annual making of sugar cookies. Thanks to Auntie Jody for helping!
I must say that one year in Miriam's age has made a huge difference in her ability to be patient and learn to actually make the cookies right. We had a good time together.
Eliza got a turn to help too. She wasn't quite as patient but had fun anyway.
The best part. So yummy! We had lots of fun delivering plates of these goodies to our neighbors that night. And we might have kept a few for ourselves :-)
Jody and her family will be moving soon after the Holidays, sniff sniff :( Her husband, Cace, is already in Minnesota working at the new job. So Jody and Gemma got to spend extra time with us this week. They came up to play and make our traditional Christmas treats. Miriam and Eliza love Jody and Gemma so much. It will be so sad to see them go (again).
Dance party to Christmas music.
I'd say it was a success!! (only one failed batch of caramels and toffee).
Such a cutie!
Our best attempt at getting a shot of these two in their matching outfits.
