Happy Halloween

This year for Halloween, we again went to Wal-Mart ISD's Trick or Treat Trail

It was hard to keep Miriam going sometimes, as she was so distracted by all the fun decorations along the way.

Eliza, my lovely little flower, was entirely uninterested and again, slept through it all (notice a running theme with her activity level of late??)

We also went to our Ward's "Spook-tacular" and Trunk or Treat.  Miriam was amazingly still as she got her face painted.  She kept pointing to it all night and loved to look at herself in the mirror.

Eliza sleeping through all of the attention.  This is Shelby, our neighbor youth down the street who has babysat for us several times, and LOVED holding Eliza.  Who wouldn't, she's so sweet and sleeps the whole time!

These are her parents.  Her Dad won the award for scariest adult costume.  He apologized the next day before teaching the Sunday School lesson for scaring people's children.

Later that night went to a friend's Halloween Party at their house and enjoyed some good food and socialization.  By the time Halloween actually rolled around Monday night, we were partied out and stayed home to pass out candy to the Trick or Treaters.  Luckily Miriam didn't seem to care and instead was fascinated by all our interesting visitors that night!
