Monday morning we went straight to the beach.
Eliza tried a few times to eat the sand but quickly learned it didn't taste very good.
Unfortunately by the time we made it to the beach each morning, Eliza was ready for her nap.
The rocking motion of the waves put her right to sleep.
Miriam was nervous of the waves at first so she wouldn't more than dabble her toes in the water.
Until Daddy made her go in anyway.

We also got to meet my 3 month old niece, Gemma, for the first time. She did wonderful at the beach.
When it was time for a nap, Jody would walk along the beach with Gemma in the carrier and she'd fall right asleep.
Jody even took her out in the water and she did great. Such a sweet baby!
It was a great day with family at a beautiful beach. Doesn't get much better than this.
