Castaway Cay

This is the beautiful Castaway Cay (Disney's Private island).

This is also the view from my verandah when I woke in the morning.  Have I mentioned how much I LOVED having a verandah??

For our day at Castaway we basically did a small Triathlon   Not exactly what you'd imagine for vacation, but it was fun.

In the morning we did a 5K run.  It was Heather's first 5K and she did great.

We had a few minutes to relax before our next adventure and found a small hermit crab.

Then we were off to feed and snorkel with the stingrays (swimming part 1).

 

Next, we rented bikes and rode around the island (the biking part of our Triathlon).

And for the swimming part 2 of our Triathlon, snorkeling in the lagoon.

There were actually fish and stingray in the lagoon, but these are the only pictures.

And back to the ship after a hard day of exercising.

This is what Sara and Nichelle did all day while we were playing hard.

 

The cruise was awesome, definitely not long enough.  I would love to come back some day and bring the girls, which will make it a completely different experience!
